titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF A PROTEIN MARKED BY A RADIO-METALLIC NUCLEIDE. |
abstract | According to a process for the preparation of a protein or a protein material marked with a radio-metallic nuclide and which is used for diagnosis or for therapeutic applications, the protein or protein material is reacted with a binding agent between the nuclide radioactive and the protein or proteinaceous material, so as to form a protein conjugate, then combining the radioactive nuclide and the conjugate thus obtained with a radioactive nuclide compound. The binding agent used essentially comprises a thio compound having the general formula YRSX in which X is a hydrogen atom or an appropriate protecting group, R is an optionally substituted branched or unbranched hydrocarbon radical having between 1 and 10 carbon atoms, which can be interrupted by one or more heteroatoms, and Y is at least one terminal reactive group capable of reacting with a functional group of the protein or proteinaceous material; or a cyclic condensation product of the thio compound having the formula (I) having between 5 and 7 cyclic atoms, in which X and Y together form a reactive group capable of reacting with a functional group of the protein or protein material; or a water-soluble salt of this condensation product. The invention also relates to novel compounds useful as binding agents and protein conjugates obtained with these compounds. The invention further relates to the labeled protein or protein material thus obtained and a kit for preparing a radiopharmaceutical composition which comprises a protein conjugate formed by reaction of a protein or protein material with the binding agent. mentionned. |
