abstract | In the measuring system, periodic analog measuring signals are generated by scanning the measuring graduation (2) of a scale (1), from which digital counting signals dependent on the adjustment direction are derived for an evaluation device (20). Electronic devices (6) for error correction, at least of division or assembly errors of the scale (1), are provided according to a stored correction program. In order to avoid jumps in the counting and display and to make corrections according to a correction curve that can be adapted to the circumstances, the analog measurement signals are applied in multiplication circuits (9 to 12) according to the pre-stored correction program with correction factors which cause a phase shift of the output signal compared to the Generate input signal in steps of only a small fraction of a complete signal train and the analog signals corrected in this way are then fed to further evaluation. |
