An improved process for the preparation of coated frozen edible products has been developed which are stable when stored for extended periods of time. Once reconstituted by heating in the microwave or by cooking, they have an organoleptically equivalent texture and appearance or better than those of fried coated edible products. The invention also relates to the products produced according to said process. |
