titleOfInvention Quiescent plant somatic embryos and method for their production
abstract The method of producing synthetic seeds by inducing growth quiescence in plant somatic embryos consists of maintaining the embryos in an atmosphere having a relative humidity of 30-85% or in an osmotic-acting environment having a humidity content of 30- 85% for a period of time sufficient to reduce the moisture content of the embryos from 85-65% to 4-15% and stop the growth of the embryos.
