abstract | Disclosed are novel naphthalocyanine compounds nwhich strongly absorb light of the near infrared region and nwhich are chemically stable and highly soluble to an organic nsolvent. The naphthalocyanine compounds are represented by nthe following formula [1]; n nwherein X represents n n( wherein R¹ and R² nrespectively represent a hydroxyl group, an alkyl group, an naryl group or an alkoxy group ) and M represents 2H, a metal natom, a metal oxide residue or a metal chloride residue. nThe present invention also provides a process for producing nthe naphthalocyanine compounds, intermediates thereof and a nprocess for producing the intermediates. |
