titleOfInvention Method for detection of premenstrual syndrome
abstract Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and other conditions can be diagnosed by measuring the level of luteinizing hormone antibodies in the system of a female patient. A level of these antibodies below the levels measured in women without PMS indicates that the patient suffers from PMS. The patient thus identified is then treated by appropriate methods, such as oral administration of progesterone, to alleviate the symptoms of the syndrome.
