| abstract |
One proceeds to the automatic registration of images representative of the same scene, but acquired under conditions such that the subject has moved, by automatically selecting a homogeneous population of landmarks and by calculating the displacement vectors associated with these landmarks. We show that to select the landmarks it is interesting to characterize the image by a certain number of characteristic quantities, representative of the robustness of these landmarks. The robustness of the landmarks is the ability of a landmark to be the place of an exact displacement measurement for a required precision. |
