titleOfInvention | KNEE PROSTHESIS. |
abstract | The described knee joint prosthesis, which is intended to be permanently anchored in the bone tissue of a knee joint of the human body, comprises a part of the tibia with concave joint surface (38) intended to cooperate with a convex articulation surface of a part of the femur of the knee joint prosthesis, as well as two anchoring elements (37) intended to be introduced into a hollow channel (61) formed in the bone tissue and to allow anchoring the tibia part in the tibia (48). The hinge element (36) of the tibia has one or more locking bases (47) protruding from a bearing surface intended to rest against a surface of the bone tissue. Each blocking base is intended, when the joint prosthesis is mounted, to be blocked on one of the anchoring elements, which consist of separate elements. |
