abstract Aryloxytriazine-capped polyphenylene ethers are nprepared by reaction of a polyphenylene ether with an aryl­noxychlorotriazine such as diphenyl chlorocyanurate. The nproducts undergo reaction with amine-terminated polymers such nas polyamides, to form compositions which have excellent nproperties and which find utility as molding compositions and nas compatibilizers for blends of similar polymers.
