The control unit (13) of the medical device is designed with two channels, the components being available in at least two versions. For safety reasons, the input device (29) of the control unit allows only a limited adjustment of data.n n n A single-channel programming device (21), which can be a personal computer, is used to change the programming of the control unit (13). The data can be freely programmed on this programming device until the entire data set is completed, which is then transferred to the control unit (13). To check the accuracy of the transmission, related data or the corresponding CRC sums are simultaneously displayed on the display devices (19) and (27) of the control unit (13) and programming device (21) by pressing a key (28a) and compared by the user. Pressing the key (28a) to advance the data also serves as an acknowledgment of the correctness of the transmission. The interpreters integrated in the read-only memory form the specified application from the transmitted data. |
