titleOfInvention | Microbially prepared N-acetyl-2,3-didehydroleucine acylase, process for its preparation and its use |
abstract | The invention relates to a microbiologically produced N-acetyl-2,3-didehydroamino acid acylase and a process for its production from Zoogloea ramigera DSM 4306. The new enzyme can be used in a coupled enzyme system with an L-leucine dehydrogenase for the enzymatic conversion of N-acetyl -2,3-didehydroleucine to L-leucine can be used via the intermediates 2-imino-4-methyl-pentanoic acid or 2-keto-4-methyl-pentanoic acid. Furthermore, the acylase can be used for the production of D- or L-tryptophylglycine from D- or L-tryptophanamide and glycine and of other tryptophyldipeptides from tryptophanamide and a free amino acid as an amino component. |
