abstract A thermoplastic resin composition which ncomprises: n (A) 100 parts by weight of: n(i) a resin composition comprising 5-95% by nweight of a polyphenylene ether obtainable by oxidation npolymerisation of at least one phenol compound represented nby the formula: n nwherein R¹, R², R³, R⁴ and R⁵, which may be identical or ndifferent, each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom nor a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group, and at nleast one of R¹ to R⁵ is a hydrogen atom, or n(ii) a polyphenylene ether-based resin ncomposition comprising said polyphenylene ether and a npolystyrene, and n95-5% by weight of a polyamide resin; n (B) 5 - 50 parts by weight of a saturated rubber nobtainable by grafting 5 - 100 parts by weight of an naromatic vinyl compound onto 100 parts by weight of a nsaturated rubber and allowing 0.05 - 10 parts by weight of na compatibilising agent to react with said rubber, the ngrafting degree of said aromatic vinyl compound being 50% nby weight or more; and (C) 0.05 - 20 parts by weight of a ncompatibilising agent.
