RECOVERY OF UROKINASE COMPOUNDS. |
abstract |
A process has been developed for recovering urokinase compounds from cell media or extracts. The method includes contacting the solution containing the urokinase compound with a siliceous matrix material comprising a covalently linked polymer having multiple anionic groups. Selective elution of the urokinase compound can produce eluents with high specific activity. The process can recover more than 90% of urokinase activity from the crude solution. |
