abstract The field of the invention is that of the simultaneous manufacture of a plurality of magnetic planar heads on a three-dimensional substrate intended to be cut to separate each head.n n n According to the invention, a drilling matrix (31 x, y ) is produced in a three-dimensional magnetic block (30); a non-magnetic material is injected into said holes (31 xy ); a pair of symmetrical, parallel lateral bores (32 xy , 33 xy ) are made on either side of each of said injections 31xy of non-magnetic material; the block (30) is cut into wafers, then magnetic heads are identified in each wafer after the formation of micro-openings in a deposit of magnetic material in a thin layer on the wafer.
