abstract | The present invention relates to hydrophilic softening agents for fibrous materials which, in addition to conventional emulsifiers, known constituents and water, a water-soluble ammonium salt (component 1) having at least one fatty acid residue, at least one quaternary ammonium compound different from component (1) with at least one long-chain alkyl residue (component 2) and dispersed polyethylene wax (component (3) in a known manner. In addition, the use of these softening agents for the treatment of fibrous materials, in particular textiles, is described.n n n The present hydrophilic softening agents are distinguished by the fact that, in addition to good to very good hydrophilicity and a pleasantly soft, fluffy, plump softening handle, they hardly influence the whiteness of the treated materials and are also extremely storage and temperature resistant. |
