abstract | An ultraviolet radiation screening composition is provided for on-line surface impregnating hot polycarbonate sheet. The composition comprises an ultraviolet radiation screener and carrier solution which contains respective amounts of dipropylene glycol methyl ether, tripropylene glycol methyl ether, 1,2 propanediol and 1,4 butanediol. The carrier solution provides a desired level of volatility and aggressiveness for on-line surface impregnation of hot aromatic polycarbonate sheet and film. |
