abstract Said syringe-shaped injection device for distributing a preselected dose of a liquid drug has two sleeve-shaped elements (1, 10) which can be coupled; one of these is designed as a support (1) for the distributing mechanism (20) while the other one is designed as a sleeve (10) for the ampule, which receives the ampule (11) and the canula (12); the distributing mechanism (20) actuates the plug (15) of the ampule (11). The distributing mechanism (20) is designed in such a manner that only a single dose can be distributed from one ampule (11); this is particularly important in the treatment of functional erection disorders in men, the drug papaverine being introduced without preservatives into the ampule.
