A process is disclosed for producing adsorption matrices having specific binding properties, high chemical and mechanical stability and high binding capacity towards polymers or micro-organisms to be adsorbed from an aqueous solution. These matrices are useful for qualitative and quantitative analysis, for the prepartion or selective removal of (in some cases pathogenic) biopolymers in vitro and/or in vivo, or for binding or removing micro-organisms for microbiological or biotechnological purposes. |
