abstract | A silver halide grain having a new shape is prepared. The grain has protruded crystal plains attached to a basic crystal grain on each edge in parallel with a plain defined by 4 edges containing the center of the basic crystal grain to form brim-like plains. A silver halide emulsion containing the grain and a photographic material containing the emulsion as a photosensitive material are also disclosed. The photographic material shows high efficiency in sensitization, exposure and development. |
