titleOfInvention Frough mangle
abstract A trough mangle (1) with several trough-roller pairs is operated without the previously known mangle belts. Instead, a scraper device (16) is provided at the outlet of each pair of rollers and troughs (2, 5, 3, 6), which removes the laundry items from the lateral surface of the roller (5) and places them on a transport device which connects the downstream bridge (4 ) rotates. The transport device pulls the laundry items smooth, moves them over the bridge (4) and introduces them into the mang nip of the downstream pair of rollers and troughs (3, 6). This trough deficiency (1) runs maintenance-free over long operating times, since the previously frequently occurring breaks of lack bands are no longer to be feared.
