titleOfInvention Article for the simulation of smoking
abstract The article is intended to simulate smoking by inhaling nicotine without exposure to heat. A housing (10) with air inlet (11) and air outlet (12) contains a support structure (14), for example a ball bed (20), for a nicotine preparation that evaporates at room temperature. The support structure (14) forms a plurality of continuous flow channels (21). The nicotine preparation (e.g. pure nicotine) is attached to its free and non-absorbent surface as a thin layer (22) which leaves the channels (21) open. Glass or other sufficiently dense, inert materials can be used as the material for the supporting structure (14). Different forms of support structures are described.
