abstract |
The invention relates to a method for the disposal of waste water having a high ammonium nitrogen content.n n n It is known to fill this ammonium by adding magnesium oxide and phosphoric acid to magnesium ammonium phosphate (MAP). According to the invention, the organic contaminants still present in the wastewater are broken down by aerobic biological treatment after the ammonium precipitation. In order to avoid an increase in the acid capacity and an overdosing of the magnesium oxide, the magnesium oxide and possibly the phosphoric acid are added in several parts according to the invention and, after the addition, the mixture is stirred intensively and the acid capacity is reduced by blowing out the released carbon dioxide.n n n The method is applicable in addition to landfill leachate for liquid manure, waste water from the food industry and anaerobic waste water treatment. |
