titleOfInvention FLEXIBLE MULTI-LAYERED ARMORING.
abstract Flexible article resistant to projectile impacts, composed of several prepreg plates. Each of these plates is composed of at least two prepreg layers, each of these layers comprises a certain amount of coplanar fibers integrated in a polymer matrix. A device makes it possible to hold all the plates together in several successive layers, on at least part of these. The impregnated plates are free relative to each other on a part of their adjacent faces, preferably on a fairly large part. The presence of several plates gives greater flexibility to the whole.
