abstract The invention relates to new drugs containing a pteridine of the formula in the n is the number 0 or 1, R₂ and R₇ each have a pyrrolidiono, piperidino or morpholino group optionally substituted by one or two methyl groups, R₃ is a straight-chain or branched alkyl group in which, with the exception of the carbon atom adjacent to the nitrogen atom, one or two carbon atoms can be substituted by a hydroxy group, R₄ is an alkyl or phenylalkyl group in which, with the exception of the carbon atom adjacent to the nitrogen atom, a carbon atom can be substituted by a hydroxyl group, and R₅ represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, or its acid addition salts and at least one chemotherapeutic from the series of natural products, and the new use of the above pteridines for sensitizing tumors in chemotherapy with the aforementioned chemotherapeutic agents, as well as new pteridines, processes for their preparation and medicaments containing these pteridines.
