titleOfInvention Process for preparing aromatic amine polymer
abstract A process for preparing an aromatic amine polymer by electrolytic oxidative polymerization in a comparatively short time is disclosed. The process is intended to form a film having a uniform, dense, and smooth surface and a good strength, and comprises polymerizing an aromatic amine such as aniline by electrolytic oxidative polymerization in the presence of a protonic acid, with an alcoholic solvent being used as a solvent contained in the electrolytic solution. In addition, a metal salt may optionally be added as a third component.
