titleOfInvention | Adaptive pre-distortion circuit |
abstract | Adaptive predistortion circuit for digital transmission system which includes: . a predistortion circuit (52₁, 52₂) which predistorts the input data before it passes through a modulator (56) then through an amplifier (57), . and an adaptation circuit (61₁, 61₂) which, starting from a demodulation of the flow of transmitted data, continuously adapts the predistortion circuit to the flow of the input data.n n n It comprises an encoder (51) which, from the digital data a k , generates on a first channel, digital data b k which come predistorted from a first predistortion circuit (52₁) in phase with the symbol clock, and on a second channel, digital data c k which exit predistorted from a second predistortion circuit (52₂), in phase opposition with the symbol clock. The signals b k and c k are obtained by polynomial coding. Coding can be carried out using shift registers (62₁ ... 62 I ) addressing a memory.n n n application : digital transmission system. |
