titleOfInvention Security device
abstract A security device with a transmitter 1 and a receiver 2 works on the basis of a high-frequency signal modulated with a code signal word. In order to protect the transmitter against unauthorized use and to achieve an expanded area of application, the transmitter is assigned a switching device (12, 14, 19) which has a memory (18) for a password and an input device (19) for a password. This switching device also comprises a microprocessor (12) with a comparison device and a code signal generator (11), the comparison device preparing a control circuit for the code signal generator (11) if the password matches the password. If the code signal generator (11) is activated via an alarm key switch (15) or a reset key switch (16), then it generates a code signal word assigned to the respective key. At the same time, the transmitter is switched from its readiness to transmit to the active transmission state and the correspondingly modulated high-frequency signal is transmitted. A receiver (2) located in the transmission range of transmitter 1 then activates the alarm transmitter or switches it off.
