titleOfInvention Process and device for equipping a post-filling two-stroke engine
abstract In a process and a device for equipping a post-filling two-stroke engine, the device has a post-filling system (16) comprising an air inlet duct (22) which admits air to the cylinder (14) and which communicates intermittently with either the source of the scavenging air (A) or a chamber (30) for storing the gases under pressure. The chamber (30) is advantageously located inside the piston (12) while the air inlet duct (22) is constituted by at least one elbowed duct bent around the cylinder and having a sufficient volume to constitute a reserve of charging air for post-filling. Improved operation of the engine is achieved.
