abstract Process for dyeing and printing cellulosic fiber materials with vat dyes in the presence of endiols as reducing agents and alkali, with additional small amounts of organic, water-miscible solvents, e.g. low molecular weight alcohols. The vat dyes are combined completely and uniformly in a relatively short time, the vat colors obtained are reproducible and are characterized by good levelness and fastness.
