abstract | The present invention relates to a method and a device for the breeding and industrial production of snails.n n n According to the invention, the method consists in placing the animals in small groups in specific cages installed in an enclosure conditioned in temperature, humidity and lighting according to cycles and parameters adapted to the biological behavior of the animals, in applying high-level prophylaxis, and in feed the animals using a specific compound feed.n n n The device according to the invention is in the form of a module (1) provided with a side wall of ventilations (18 ′) of a front door (3) equipped with a cover (4). A number of modules assembled to each other by means (8) and (9) make it possible to produce sets of cages which are placed horizontally on supports suitable for this purpose, an orifice (5) allows the passage of a washing ramp, a gutter (6) collects the washing water.n n n The invention mainly finds its application in the field of heliciculture. |
