abstract |
The invention relates to an antigenic gp300 protein characterized by: - a molecular weight (PM) of around 300Kd, - the association of two units of a gp140 glycoprotein, a precursor in particular of the gp125 envelope glycoprotein encoded by the env gene of the genome of a human HIV-2 retrovirus capable of causing ALS or AIDS or the protein a retrovirus which immunologically crosses with antibodies directed against said HIV-2 retrovirus gp300 protein.n n n The invention also relates to the preparation of these proteins, monoclonal antibodies directed against them and immunogenic compositions containing them. |
