A process for the determination of an LDH₁ fraction in a sample is disclosed which comprises inhibiting LDH₂, LDH₃, LDH₄ and LDH₅ in the sample with a protease in the presence of a protein-denaturating agent and then determining the remaining uninhibited LDH₁. |
