A fibroin molding is obtained by treating fibroin with a crosslinking or coupling agent such as carbodiimide or glutaraldehyde. This molding can be formed into any desired form such as cast film, regenerated fibers, permeable membrane, coating membrane, porous material, microbeads, etc. They can be prepared by adding the coupling agent to a fibroin solution and solidifying fibroin, or by solidifying and molding fibroin from a fibroin solution and treating the product with the coupling agent. The above-described molding can be used by immobilizing thereon heparin or the like. |
