A liquid catalyst component for copolymerization of ethylene with a-olefin comprising a titanium com- pound represented by the following general formula: (R 1 R 2 N) 4-(m+n) TiX m Y n nwherein R 1 and R 2 each represents a saturated hy- jrocarbon group having 8 to 30 carbon atoms; X epresents halogen; Y represents an alkoxy group; m epresents a number satisfying 1≦m≦3; n represents a number satisfying 0≦n≦2; and (m + n) satisfies 1≦-(m + n)≦3. n Said liquid catalyst component is used in com- oination with an organoaluminum compound as a catalyst system for copolymerization of ethylene with x-olefin. |
