Knee endoprosthesis in which two parts, linked respectively to the femur and the tibia, are in sliding contact by parallel surfaces shaped with two different radii of curvature, like the condyles of the femur; said parts (a and c) are simply applied one against the other by the successive bearing surfaces (5 - 5 ′, 5a - 5′a, 6 - 6 ′, 6a - 6′a) without material axis articulation; one of the sliding parts (c) is made of a material with a low coefficient of friction, such as high density polyethylene, and has the form of a thick plate which carries symmetrically and parallel arranged, the concave support surfaces concave of shaped supports (5 ′, 6 ′, 5′a, 6′a) homologous to the convex surfaces (5, 6, 5a, 6a) provided on the femoral part (a). |
