titleOfInvention | Electrophotographic photoreceptor and method of producing the same |
abstract | Disclosed is an electrophotographic photoreceptor in nwhich an organic lubricant (6) is provided on the surface of an norganic photoconductive layer (5) or on a protective layer(11) nformed on the organic photoconductive layer. Elements (8) of nthe organic lubricant are partly exposed from the surface nof the organic photoconductive layer or the protective nlayer while the remainder portions (7) of the elements nembedded or fixed by chemical reaction in the surface nregion of the photoconductive layer or the protective layer nso that the exposed portions of the elements of the organic nlubricant provides a lubricating surface layer. The nlubricating surface layer suppresses wear of the nphotoreceptor thereby enabling the photosensitive layer to nwithstand a long repeated use without impairing nelectrophotographic characteristics. |
