Sulfonamide derivatives of the formula I. in the R¹ represents a C₁₋₄ alkyl or phenyl group which can be substituted by halogen atoms, trifluoromethyl or C₁₋₄ alkyl groups, R² represents a hydrogen atom or a C₁₋₄ alkyl group, A represents one of the groups CHOR³, C = O, C = S or C = N-OR⁴, where R³ is a hydrogen atom, a C₁₋₄-alkyl, phenyl, benzyl or C₁₋₄-acyl group and R⁴ represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, B can mean an m- or p-position methylene, ethylene or, if A does not represent a carbonyl group, also a methyleneoxy group, the oxygen atom being bonded to the aromatics, E is a carboxyl, phosphonic acid or sulfonic acid residue, the physiologically acceptable salts thereof, esters with C₁₋₄ alcohols and amides, and the tetrazol-5-yl residue, their manufacture and use as medicines. |
