abstract | a) von der Kornoberfläche zum Kornzentrum hin wenigstens 3 Zonen unterschiedlicher Halogenidzusammensetzung enthalten, wobei der lokale Iodidgehalt an wenigstens einer Stelle, die nicht an der Oberfläche und nicht im Zentrum liegt, ein Maximum annimmt, wobei b) die Differenz zwischen dem Iodidgehalt der Zone mit dem höchsten Iodidgehalt und dem Iodidgehalt der weiter vom Kornzentrum entfernten Zone mit dem niedrigsten Iodidgehalt mindestens 6 Mol-% beträgt, c) der Anteil (in Mol-% Silberhalogenid) der Zonen, in denen der Iodidgehalt ein Maximum annimmt, 2 bis 70 beträgt, und 2. wenigstens einer dieser Emulsionsschicht zugeordneten DIR-Verbindung, deren Inhibitor eine Diffusibilität von mindestens 0,4 aufweist, nzeichnet sich durch verbesserte Schärfe und einen verbesserten Interimageeffekt aus.
