titleOfInvention | Integrity preserving and determining urine sample collection apparatus |
abstract | A drug testing urine sample collector (10) includes a multiple tamper-proof system to make sure that freshly voided samples of urine are not replaced or adulterated. A chemical type thermometer (38) is located in the reservoir (14) to make sure that the urine sample is fresh when collected. A specific gravity sensitive ball (28) valve restricts entry of a diluted urine sample into the reservoir (14). The cap (48) for the reservoir (14) also acts as a base for the collector (12) and includes sample adulteration detection reagents (52). The collector (12) structure prevents the sample from being emptied from the reservoir (14). |
