abstract The invention relates to thionophosphonic acid (amide) esters of the general formula found, in which R¹ represents optionally substituted radicals from the series alkyl and alkenyl, R² for optionally substituted radicals from the series alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkynyloxy or for the group in which R³ and R⁴ are the same or different and are independently hydrogen and optionally substituted radicals from the series alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl or together with the nitrogen atom form a 5- to 7-membered, saturated or unsaturated ring and X represents halogen, which can be used as pesticides.
