abstract A random cycloolefin copolymer composition having excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, rigidity and impact strength, which comprises: (A) a random cycloolefin copolymer composed of an ethylenic component and a cycloolefin component and having a limiting viscosity [η] measured at 135 °C in decaline of 0.05 to 10 dl/g and a softening temperature (TMA) of 70 °C or above, (B) one or more soft copolymers selected from the group consisting of: (i) a random cycloolefin copoly mer composed of an ethylenic component. at least one other a-olefinic component and a cycloolefin component and having a limiting viscosity [η] of 001 to 10 dl/g and a softening temperature (TMA) lower than 70 °C: (ii) an amorphous or lowly crystalline α-olefinic elastic copolymer formed by at least two a-olefins; (iii) an elastic α-olefindiene copolymer formed by at least two α-olefins and at least one non-conjugated diene: and (IV) an aromatic vinyl hydrocarbon-conjugated diene copolymer or its hydrogenation product and. if necessary. (C) an inorganic or organic filier.
