Method of closing and subsequently opening sterilizable container lids forthe execution of said method and method of producing said lids |
abstract |
This method for the closing and easy reopening of a container (1) by the use of a lid (3) which is sealed by a "welding into the mass" on the rim (2) of the said container is characterised in that: - the materials participating in the said welding in the mass are of the same nature and are chosen from high density polyethylene, polypropylene and polyester and form at least one layer of thickness between 20 and 100 micrometres; - at least one of the said materials participating in the said welding comprises 15 to 50% by weight of an inert load: the quantity of the load being selected according to the nature of the said material in order that, by traction on the lid, an internal fracture of the said loaded material is caused. <IMAGE> |
