abstract The invention relates to titanium-based alloy compositions having significantly improved corrosion resistance in mineral acid environments, as well as structures made with such compositions. In particular, these titanium-based alloy compositions contain specific amounts of iron and copper, the remainder being almost completely titanium, any impurities excepted, and the structures made with these compositions are used for the production by electrolysis of manganese dioxide suitable for batteries.
