titleOfInvention Fibre-reinforced plastics pads for spring leaves
abstract Fibre-reinforced plastic mounting plates are proposed as an intermediate component in the corresponding attachment devices of the leaf springs for introducing force in the case of non-metallic leaf springs. In order to reduce tension peaks and to avoid relaxation, the mounting plates consist of fabric or layers of glass, carbon and/or plastic fibres impregnated or laminated with plastic, the fibre strands being distributed essentially evenly with respect to one another and being aligned at an angle of +/-45 DEG or 0 DEG /90 DEG with respect to the longitudinal axis of the leaf spring.
