titleOfInvention | Light-sensitive recording materials for the manufacture of scratch-resistant intaglio printing formes |
abstract | The invention relates to a light-sensitive recording material for producing intaglio printing plates and to a process for producing intaglio printing formes. n<??>The photopolymerisable and/or photocrosslinkable material, which is soluble or dispersible in a developer fluid and becomes insoluble or no longer dispersible in this developer fluid by exposure to actinic light, contains, at least in a surface zone of the surface of the layer which later forms the surface of the printing forme, finely disperse abrasive particles, the mean particle size of the abrasive particles being in the range from 0.1 to 6 mu m, the abrasive particles having a hardness of >4.0 on the Mohs hardness scale, the surface of the layer which later forms the surface of the printing forme having a peak-to-valley height of <2 mu m, and the photocrosslinkable and/or photopolymerisable material containing a reaction product of a cycloaliphatic epoxide with acrylic acid or methacrylic acid. |
