The present invention relates to a new process for obtaining an extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves.n n n The method according to the invention is characterized in that the following successive operations are carried out: - grinding of the leaves of Ginkgo biloba; - extraction of the ground material of leaves of Ginkgo biloba using an aqueous ketone solvent; - concentration extraction juices to precipitate biflavonoids and hydrophobic substances; - filtration of the aqueous concentrate; - basification of the filtrate to precipitate the proanthocyanidins; - elimination by filtration of the insoluble fraction containing the proanthocyanidins; - acidification of the filtrate; - liquid-liquid extraction of the filtrate with a C₄-C₆ ketone in the presence of ammonium sulfate, and recovery of the extract by drying the ketone phase. |
