titleOfInvention Driving system for a reciprocating working unit
abstract In order to rule out the disadvantageous influence of the inertial forces on movable and stationary parts of a machine with a work unit that executes a to-and-fro movement in the drive system, one or more accumulators (3) for the work unit (1) provided with a pin (2) can be rotated kinetic energy connected. The total mass of the accumulators (3) is equal to the mass of the work unit (1). Their centers of gravity (4) are measured at a distance of half a stroke length (9) of the work unit (1), arranged from the axis of the pin (2) which connects the accumulator (3) to the work unit (1). At the center of the distance between the center of gravity (4) of the accumulator (3) and the axis of the pin (2) a crank (5) is rotatably connected to the accumulator (3), the radius of which is a quarter of the stroke length (9) of the working unit (1) is. The axis of rotation (6) of the crank (5) lies in the plane perpendicular to the direction of movement of the working unit (1) and coincides with the axis of the pins (2) in the central position of the working unit (1). A counterweight (7) is arranged on the extension of the crank (5) on the side opposite its axis of rotation (6), the center of gravity (8) of which lies in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation (6) of the crank (5). The sum of the products of the masses of the counterweights (7) and the distances of their centers of gravity (8) from their axis of rotation (6) is equal to the product of the mass of the working unit (1) and half of their stroke length (9).
