titleOfInvention Glass-ceramic material with a cordierite crystalline phase, and its use
abstract The glass ceramic material with cordierite crystal phase is suitable for medical, preferably stomatological, purposes. With this material it is possible, with sufficient resilience and biological compatibility, to form an external shape and coloring that is largely approximated to the natural product.n n n Surprisingly, it was found that this is due to a material of the following composition SiO₂ = 40-48 % By weight Al₂O₃ = 23-26 " MgO = 8-12 " Na₂O = 3.0 - 5.5 " K₂O = 0 - 6.0 " CaO = 0.01-0.2 " F⁻ = 2.9 - 4.0 " Cl⁻ = 0.01-0.5 " P₂O₅ = 2.0 - 6.0 " CoO = 0.0001 - 0.001 " is achieved.n n n The glass ceramic material is used as a dental product, such as inlays, crowns, bridges, abutments, shells and unique medical products.
