titleOfInvention Clathrate compound and a method of producing the same
abstract A clathrate compound formed by a hydroquinone comnpound represented by general formula (I) n nwhere R is a branched alkyl group having 3 to 7 carbon natoms, and n is 1 or 2; and a water-soluble microbicide nor natural essential oil. A hydroquinone compound is mixed nwith a water-soluble microbicide or essential oil, or a nsolution or dispersion of the hydroquinone compound is mixed nwith a solution containing the water-soluble microbicide nor with the essential oil, whereby a solid reaction product nis obtained. It is separated from a liquid phase to yield na desired clathrate compound.
