abstract | The invention relates to a polymer composition in which at least one of the polymers has a high melting point (> 250¤C) and in which at least one of the polymers is obtained by polycondensation. The polymer composition is obtained by mixing a prepolymer of a high-melting polymer with the melt of a thermoplastic polymer, after which the resulting mixture, is ground and subsequently after-condensed at a temperature of 200-360¤C during 1-40 hours. n The polymer composition possesses unique properties with respect to the chemical and thermal resistance and for this reason is eminently suitable for processing into ovenware. |
